Ogliastra, Cardedu, Cala Luas Resort

Facilities: The Cala Luas Resort is nestled in a spacious park, right on the sea, in the heart of Ogliastra, surrounded by beautiful white-sand beaches and a hinterland of typical, untamed Mediterranean scrub. The perfect destination for those who want to discover the real Sardinia. The complex consists of a central area housing the main amenities, surrounded by elegant residential units spread over two levels and set amid expansive green spaces.

Rooms: 170 rooms furnished in a Mediterranean style, located on the ground floor or first floor, all equipped with private bathrooms with showers, LCD TVs, hair dryers, safes, minibars (stocked upon request), air conditioning, and telephones. The rooms in the Main Building (for an additional fee) are 300 meters from the sea; those of Corpo Garden, 400 meters away The Garden Superior rooms (for an additional fee) include, in addition to the standard amenities, a small balcony if on the first floor, a furnished patio if on the ground floor, a minibar, in-room Wi-Fi, and beach service in the second row. The quadruple rooms have bunk beds, while the accessible rooms are double rooms at most.

Restaurant: (unassigned seating) air-conditioned dining room and a loggia with a panoramic view. Buffet service: breakfast, lunch, and dinner (still and sparkling water, white and red wine with meals), children’s menu, and traditional Sardinian dishes. CELIAC DISEASE: The facility prepares meals using ingredients provided by customers, but since it does not have a separate kitchen, it cannot guarantee that the food will remain free of contamination.

Facilities and Services: 24-hour front desk, unattended on-site parking, pool bar, beach kiosk (open in July and August), restrooms, gift shop, free Wi-Fi in the resort’s open areas (not available in rooms; included only in Superior rooms), swimming pool equipped with umbrellas and lounge chairs (subject to availability), tennis court and soccer field, beach volleyball court. For an additional fee: excursions, snorkeling, scuba diving, pedal boat rentals, bike rentals, transfers to/from ports and airports, and beach towels (deposit required).

Sports and Recreation: Morning warm-up with stretching and yoga exercises; water aerobics on the beach or in the pool; aerobics and toning; water relaxation and stretching: yoga exercises, self-shiatsu, stretching, joint mobility exercises; Caribbean dance, group dance, Latin American dance, and ballroom dance. Mini Club (ages 4–12) with special programs for children and teens, led by qualified staff members. Acting and dance classes, fun activities in the water and on the beach, singing and dance workshops, “kids’ face painting,” and Art-Attack activities to stimulate creativity. Sports activities, including courses and tournaments for all age groups. For the little ones: treasure hunts, mini-Olympics, and more; Baby Dance (with the first event of each evening dedicated to children) Baby Show (at least once a week, performances of fairy tales, comedy sketches, dancing, singing, and musicals featuring the little ones). Junior Club for ages 12–16, with entertainment staff who will organize programs specifically for them.

Beach: A wide sandy beach is located 300 meters from the main building, with a shoreline of sand and pebbles, accessible via paths within the resort. Equipped with umbrellas and lounge chairs (1st and 2nd rows available for a fee on-site by reservation), a kiosk (open in July and August), canoes, a beach volleyball court, and restrooms.
