Baia Sardinia - Cala Bitta

Facilities: Club Esse Cala Bitta is the first large club-style resort on the Costa Smeralda, located in Baia Sardinia, in the Cala Bitta area, right on the sea and near the most famous beaches of northern Sardinia. The resort has undergone an extensive renovation and upgrade to rank among the best resorts on the Costa Smeralda. In fact, all common areas, the pool, the restaurant, and all Superior rooms have been completely renovated, bringing the property to a standard well above its current classification. The spacious facilities and child-focused entertainment activities—including the fantastic “Hero Camp” and “Young Club”—guarantee an active vacation filled with relaxation and fun.

Rooms 130 spacious rooms, all equipped with air conditioning, TV, mini-fridge, hair dryer, and private bathroom. They are divided into Basic rooms with basic furnishings and Superior rooms, equipped with a safe, completely renovated and refurbished, located in the “Limoni” and “Piscina” areas. The Basic rooms are located in the “Pineta” area in small villas and buildings nestled in the greenery and shade of tall pine trees, separated from the main building by a private road. Double, twin, triple, and quadruple rooms are available, as well as comfortable “Family” rooms sleeping 4–5, consisting of two bedrooms and one bathroom.

“Esse Up” Vacation: a package designed for those who love to pamper themselves on vacation by treating themselves to a few extra comforts. Includes: Welcome Lunch (option for a free lunch even on the day of arrival); priority table assignment at the restaurant; beach umbrella assignment with one lounge chair and one deck chair starting from the 3rd row for the entire duration of the stay; free beach towel rental with daily replacement.

“Esse Plus” Vacation: everything included in the “Esse Up” package, plus: priority check-in (fast lane) and room availability by 2:00 PM; late check-out (option to keep the room until 2:00 PM at the end of your stay); complimentary initial stocking of the minibar; beach umbrella, sun lounger, and deck chair assigned from the 2nd row onward for the entire duration of your stay; Lunch Around: the option to have lunch at any Club Esse location in Sardinia, subject to reservation and availability.

Dining: air-conditioned panoramic restaurant with a stunning sea view. Buffet service featuring regional and international dishes, with a wide selection of appetizers, first courses, main courses, side dishes, authentic Italian pizza, fruit, and dessert (microfiltered water, house white, red, and rosé wines, and light beer included with meals). A selection of local wines is also available. Theme nights and a traditional Sardinian evening. Food Intolerances: Due to the structural layout of the kitchens, we cannot guarantee the absolute absence of cross-contamination for any type of food intolerance, nor can we adapt menus to accommodate individual allergies. However, the buffet does include foods that are naturally free of gluten, lactose, and eggs. A line of gluten-free products is also available. For breakfast: rusks, cookies, rice cakes, sandwich bread, packaged snacks, jams, and muesli; for lunch and dinner: pasta, bread, and packaged desserts. “Banchetto dell’Eroe” Cafeterias: a special menu for children, who can eat together with the Hero Camp staff in the designated area. Baby Feeding Area for Ages 0–3 a fully equipped area dedicated to children up to 3 years old, accessible at any time, where moms and dads can prepare baby food and find fresh, carefully selected staple foods, including meat broth, vegetables or fish, vegetable puree, small pasta, grated cheese, whole or partially skimmed UHT milk, yogurt, cheese spreads, and seasonal fruit. Services, Amenities, and Sports: restaurant, 24-hour reception, lobby, music bar/DJ set, fully equipped children’s playroom, fitness center with an outdoor calisthenics area, beach volleyball, beach tennis, swimming pool with a children’s area, Wi-Fi in common areas and in Superior rooms, shuttle service to the nearby beaches of Baja Sardinia (and Porto Sole) and an evening shuttle to Baja Sardina (reservation required on-site), excursion program—particularly to the nearby La Maddalena archipelago—beach towel and stroller rentals (please request at the time of booking). All rooms are air-conditioned.

Entertainment for ages 3–18: from May 30 to September 29. The property offers spacious dedicated areas, such as the large, fully equipped pool and the sandy beach with games and a music bar. Our entertainment team specializes in activities for children and teens, ensuring nonstop fun. Additionally, the musical entertainment program features evenings with a music bar, DJ sets, and special guests, guaranteeing fun for everyone. “Pink Hero,” the penguin mascot who’s come all the way from the cold, is waiting to entertain our little heroes with fun, artistic, and athletic activities. “Hero Camp” (ages 3–12, further divided by age group) runs from 9:00 a.m. to 1:00 a.m. With the assistance of specialized staff, children will explore a different theme each day through games, nature experiences, arts and crafts workshops, sports activities, theater, and plenty of music. “Young Club” (ages 13–18). Teens will have plenty of opportunities to socialize and share experiences through sports activities and tournaments, art workshops, and events tailored to their age group.

Beach: a small beach in the marina in front of the hotel with umbrellas, deck chairs, and sun loungers (subject to availability), beach volleyball, beach tennis, and games for children.
