The Tonale Pass is located on the border between Lombardy and Trentino-Alto Adige, surrounded by the Adamello-Presanella, Ortles-Cevedale, and Brenta ranges. The Tonale Pass is a wide-open, panoramic natural amphitheater stretching from 1,884 to 3,100 meters in elevation.
In summer, there’s no shortage of activities: you can take beautiful walks through the boundless high-altitude meadows and go on guided tours in the Adamello-Brenta and Stelvio National Parks, where you might spot protected wildlife such as deer, roe deer, chamois, and golden eagles.
Overnight stays in fully equipped alpine huts, as well as mushroom-hunting excursions with experts, horseback riding, orienteering, rafting on the Noce River, mountain biking, cultural excursions, a playground for children, and archery—all with the benefits of the Adamello Card, as provided for in the Tonale Entertainment Program.
