The Horse Country Resort is located right on the coast of Arborea, in the Gulf of Oristano, nestled among fragrant, lush gardens and far from the hustle and bustle of typical, crowded beach resorts.

Facilities: The resort, nestled in an extraordinary natural setting, offers an exciting and authentic vacation enriched by horseback riding—an experience that makes the vacation unique, open to everyone, and sure to provide unforgettable days. The complex features a “Western”-themed area with a saloon, a horse arena offering thrilling equestrian shows, Ponylandia for young guests, and a spacious spa for those who want to focus on their well-being.

Rooms: 315 rooms, all equipped with private bathrooms, hair dryers, telephones, TVs, air conditioning, in-room safes or safes at the front desk, and minibars. They are divided into Standard, without a balcony or patio, and Superior, with a balcony or patio; Exclusive Suite/Junior Suite: two spacious, elegantly furnished connecting rooms with a view of the park. Cottages: 58 (One-bedroom units sleeping 2–3 guests and two-bedroom units sleeping 3–4 guests) tastefully furnished in Old English or Western style, nestled in the centuries-old pine forest surrounding the resort, all with private entrances, fully equipped kitchens, private bathrooms, hair dryers, telephones, TVs, air conditioning, and minibars.

Dining: a wide selection of restaurants offering a rich variety of regional, national, and international dishes. “Il Fasolare,” the resort’s main restaurant, serves Italian and international cuisine in a buffet-style setting. “Il Paguro,” a beachside barbecue restaurant, offers traditional Sardinian cuisine featuring grilled meat and fish. Every other day, evenings filled with Mediterranean charm, accompanied by traditional songs and lively dancing! (Open during the summer. (Small surcharge for dinner). “Don Custer,” a pizzeria with a wood-fired oven on a terrace overlooking the pool, open during the summer. “Saloon and Restaurant,” featuring a Western-style atmosphere and Tex-Mex cuisine; Fun-filled evenings where you can experience life as a real cowboy, with country dancing and themed games (a small surcharge applies for dinner). Note: half-board: begins with dinner and ends with breakfast; Full board: begins with dinner and ends with lunch. Water and house wine are included with meals. Full board must be confirmed at the time of booking. Meals purchased on site will be charged according to the current dining price list. Restaurants' seasonal opening dates are at the management's discretion.

Bar: American Bar “Il Cedro,” in the small square, featuring piano bar evenings; "Tropicana" Pool Bar by the pool, open during the warmer months, offering afternoon fun with entertainment activities and snack service. The “Mirto” Beach Bar on the beach is open during the summer months. A saloon-pub in the heart of the Western Village, featuring Texan-Mexican-themed nights so you can experience what it's like to be a real cowboy.

Relaxation, Sports, and Fun: two swimming pools for adults and children, a tennis court, soccer, table tennis, archery, a Mini Club for ages 5–11, and a Junior Club for ages 12–17. Rent Bike. For a fee: pedal boats, canoes, sea and land excursions, sailing, snorkeling, and scuba diving. Poseidonya SPA Wellness Center featuring: indoor thalassotherapy pools, a Turkish bath, a sauna, a relaxation area, and elegant treatment rooms equipped with the latest massage techniques and equipment, as well as experiential evenings offering relaxation under the stars paired with tastings of traditional Sardinian wines. Horseback riding activities: a tour of the stables, a first-time riding experience, and rides through the pine forest and along the beach. For experts: English and American-style riding at fully equipped riding facilities, as well as trail riding. All activities will be conducted with the assistance of qualified instructors and guides. At the Palacavallo, there will be performances by horses and riders—and for the little ones, Ponylandia!!
