Club Esse Selinunte Beach

Facilities: The Club Esse Selinunte Beach is located near the sand dunes of the Belice Nature Reserve, a Site of Community Importance (SCI)—a unique and priceless place in terms of nature and landscape, where “selinon” still grows, the wild celery that gave the city its name. Selinunte reached the height of its splendor in the 5th century B.C. It subsequently lost its importance quite rapidly, which is why its ruins have been preserved intact and stand as one of the most important testaments to Magna Graecia. The Selinunte Archaeological Park is the largest in Europe and a site of rare beauty.

Rooms: The property consists of a three-story main building with 140 comfortable and inviting rooms. Each room features a private bathroom with a shower and hairdryer, a terrace, air conditioning, a TV, a telephone, a mini-fridge, and a safe. They are divided into single, double, triple, quadruple (with bunk beds), and quintuple rooms. Rooms for guests with disabilities are available.

Dining: Club Esse Plan: Our service is always buffet-style, allowing all our guests the utmost freedom and creativity in combining flavors and portion sizes to suit their personal tastes. Every day we offer regional and international dishes, with a wide selection of appetizers, first courses, main courses, side dishes, authentic Italian pizza, fruit, and desserts. Theme Nights. Unless otherwise specified, microfiltered water, house white and red wine, and light beer are always included at no extra charge with lunch and dinner. A selection of local and national wines is also available. Our staff is trained to accommodate various food intolerances (specific foods are not provided; if needed, guests must bring their own). For children, every day: RistoMini “Hero’s Feast”—a special menu for children, who can eat together with the “Hero Camp” staff in the designated area. Baby Feeding Area: A fully equipped space dedicated to children up to 3 years old, accessible at any time, where moms and dads can prepare baby food and find basic food items. All services are guaranteed from June 6 through September 19; outside of these dates, there is still a light entertainment program featuring evening activities, tournaments, and fitness classes. Children and teens: “Pink Hero,” the penguin mascot who’s come all the way from the cold, is waiting for the little heroes to entertain them with fun, artistic, and athletic activities and raise their awareness of environmental issues at “Hero Camp.”

Shiatsu Weeks: During the periods June 6–July 11 and September 5–19, Himawari, a certified Shiatsu training school, will offer free weekly courses for all guests, with a certificate of completion awarded at the end.

Beach: A wild, unspoiled beach with golden sand that stretches for about 5 km to the Selinunte Archaeological Park. Equipped with umbrellas and lounge chairs. It is located in the heart of a nature reserve and can be reached by a free shuttle service (for about 800 m) and then another 400 m along a wooden walkway that crosses the reserve.
