Giardini Naxos is located in the province of Messina, on the eastern side of Sicily. The town’s name derives from the Sicilian word “Giardini,” meaning citrus groves, while “Naxos” comes from the name of the first Greek colony in Sicily, on whose territory the present-day town was built.
The vacation village is located 2 km from the very important archaeological site of Naxos; it covers an area of 30,000 square meters and is surrounded by a green oasis filled with the scent of lemons and oranges.
The resort offers both the aparthotel option and the residence option; it consists of two-story buildings housing apartments and rooms.
The apartments are furnished in a simple and functional style; they all feature a bathroom, kitchenette, air conditioning, and a telephone, and most have a terrace. Superior apartments are available upon request and for an additional fee, featuring a TV, safe, and hair dryer.
Amenities: reception desk, bar, restaurant, two swimming pools, children’s playground, and unattended on-site parking. For a fee: 2 tennis courts and a coin-operated laundry. Beach umbrellas and lounge chairs are available for rent at beach clubs. A pharmacy is 2.5 km away, and shops are approximately 3 km away.
