Facilities: Club Esse Aquilia, located in Badolato Marina on the beautiful Ionian coast of Calabria, is the ideal place to enjoy a vacation filled with relaxation, fun, and exploration. Nestled in a unique natural setting, between the crystal-clear sea and the green hills, and strategically located just a short walk from the private beach and a short distance from the medieval village of Badolato.

Rooms: The 128 rooms, located in the main building and the beach area, are designed to offer comfort and functionality. They are equipped with private bathrooms featuring a shower stall and a hair dryer, air conditioning, a mini-fridge, a safe, a TV, and a balcony or patio. Accommodations are divided into several categories: Comfort Rooms—some of which are connecting rooms—including double, triple, and quadruple rooms with bunk beds. For those looking for more spacious accommodations, there are the Family Comfort rooms—which feature a double bedroom and a living room with a single bed and a pull-out bed—and the Family Plus rooms—which feature two bedrooms and a living room with a sofa bed—that can accommodate up to 6 people. The property also offers rooms equipped for guests with disabilities, available upon request.

“Esse Up” Vacation: a package designed for those who love to pamper themselves on vacation by treating themselves to a few extra comforts. Includes: Welcome Lunch (free lunch also available on the day of arrival); priority seating at the restaurant; Beach umbrella with one lounge chair and one deck chair assigned starting from the 3rd row for the entire duration of your stay; free beach towel rental with daily replacement.

“Esse Plus” Vacation: everything included in the “Esse Up” package, plus: priority check-in (fast lane) and room availability by 2:00 p.m.; late check-out (the option to keep the room until 2:00 p.m. at the end of your stay); complimentary initial supply for the mini-fridge; Assignment of a beach umbrella with a beach bed and a deck chair starting from the 2nd row onward for the entire duration of the stay; Lunch Around: You can have lunch at the Club Esse Sunbeach in Lido di Squillace, subject to reservation and availability.

Dining: Buffet service featuring a selection of regional and international dishes, a wide variety of appetizers, first courses, main courses, side dishes, authentic Italian pizza, fruit, and dessert. Theme nights and a traditional Calabrian evening (microfiltered water, house white, red, and rosé wines, light beer, and draft soft drinks, included with meals unless otherwise noted); a selection of local wines. Food Intolerances: Due to the layout of our kitchens, we cannot guarantee the complete absence of cross-contamination for any type of food intolerance, nor can we adapt our menus to accommodate individual allergies. In any case, you can find foods at the buffet that are naturally free of gluten, lactose, and eggs. We also offer a line of gluten-free products. For breakfast: rusks, cookies, rice cakes, sliced bread, packaged snacks, jams, muesli; For lunch and dinner: pasta, bread, and packaged desserts. Ristomini "Hero's Banquet": a special menu for children, who will be able to eat together with the Hero Camp staff in the designated area. Baby Feeding Area for Ages 0–3: A fully equipped space dedicated to children up to 3 years old, accessible at any time, where moms and dads can prepare baby food and find a selection of freshly prepared staple foods, including meat, vegetable, or fish broth; vegetable puree; small pasta, grated cheese, UHT whole or low-fat milk, yogurt, cheese spreads, and seasonal fruit. Please note that baby food is not available.

Activities and Entertainment: Club Esse Aquilia features spacious areas that are perfectly suited for the activities on offer, such as the swimming pools, the beach, the music bar, and the theater. The entertainment team accompanies our guests throughout their entire vacation with a rich program of entertainment, sports, and shows. "Pink Hero," the penguin mascot who's come all the way from the cold, is waiting for our little heroes to entertain them with fun, artistic, and athletic activities. "Hero Camp" (ages 3–12, further divided into age groups) from 9:00 a.m. to 6:30 p.m. With the help of specialized staff, the children will explore a different theme each day through games, nature experiences, arts and crafts workshops, sports, theater, and lots of music. "Young Club" (13/18 anni). The kids will have plenty of opportunities to socialize and share experiences through sports activities and tournaments, art workshops, and events tailored to their age group. Important: To access the services offered, you will be required to wear a colored wristband for the entire duration of your stay.

Shiatsu Weeks: From June 7 to July 12 and from August 30 to September 13, all Club Esse guests are invited to participate free of charge in the Shiatsu Workshop, featuring themed practical sessions led by instructors from the renowned Himawari Shiatsu School, with a certificate of completion provided.

Beach: The resort is located 200 meters from a beautiful beach featuring a mix of sand and pebbles, with a gently sloping seabed that is ideal for families with children.
