Carovigno Riva Marina Resort

Facility: The Riva Marina Resort is located in Salento, nestled among centuries-old olive trees, almond trees, and carob trees, amidst enchanting bays and coves lapped by crystal-clear waters, just a short walk from the Torre Guaceto nature reserve. The resort spans approximately 18 hectares, featuring dry-stone walls and traditional Mediterranean-style buildings.
Rooms: 443 elegant and comfortable rooms, all with air conditioning, telephone, LCD TV, minibar (stocked upon request), safe, balcony or furnished veranda, and bathrooms with shower and hairdryer. They are divided into Comfort Rooms—which can accommodate extra beds and bunk beds (sleeping 2 to 5 people)—and Suites (2+2 and 2+3; minimum occupancy 3 people), which are tastefully furnished and consist of two rooms (a living room with two sofa beds and a bedroom with a double bed). Suite accommodations include: premium toiletries, initial minibar supplies, beach towels, a bathrobe, and a 20% discount on treatments and massages at the spa. For guests with disabilities, ground-floor rooms with two bathrooms are available.
New for 2018: “All-Inclusive” from May 19 to September 29, includes: welcome drink, full-board buffet with themed evenings and drinks included with meals, featuring Mediterranean cuisine; an Apulian evening with a traditional regional dinner; an Italian evening and a formal dinner; light breakfast at the bar (9:30–11:30 a.m.); a carnival with cotton candy in the Play Garden once a week; an open bar with unlimited soft drinks on tap, coffee, draft beer, domestic spirits and liqueurs, and sweet and savory snacks; fruit platters and delicious pizza in the afternoon; nighttime culinary surprise three times a week; the Chef’s aperitifs; tea time with assorted pastries; Italian sparkling wine for everyone on the evening of departure. The open bar “does not include”: mineral water, bottled or canned beverages and beer, wine, liqueurs, foreign spirits and liqueurs, ice cream, and packaged products. During the periods April 1–May 18 and September 29–October 27, you can choose between half-board (€15.00 discount per person per day) or All-Inclusive (luggage service, Wi-Fi in common areas and in-room access points, B&B with drinks included; non-alcoholic beverages, beer, domestic alcoholic beverages and spirits, sweet and savory snacks, coffee service at the bar, 2 wellness treatments at the spa —60 min., subject to availability—includes: gym, heated pool with whirlpool, sauna, Turkish bath, sensory showers, Kneipp path, vascular path, and relaxation area with herbal tea bar).
Dining: 4 dining rooms with assigned seating and 2 alternative restaurants open from May 20 to September 30: “Il Pugliese” Restaurant, on the terrace overlooking the resort, available for dinner by reservation, included in the room rate, and the “Beach Restaurant” on the beach, available only for lunch, by reservation, included in the room rate. During the off-season, at the management’s discretion, the buffet service may be replaced by table service featuring a three-course menu. CELIAC DISEASE: Basic products such as bread, pasta, and cookies are available (AIC-approved resort). Baby Feeding Room (May 19–Sept. 29): a private room with a kitchen equipped with a bottle warmer, sterilizer, 4-burner stove, microwave, small pots, sink, high chairs, tables and chairs for toddlers (also available in the dining room upon request), with the following main foods provided: unsalted vegetable broth, vegetable puree, rice porridge, unsalted tomato sauce, whole or low-fat milk, cheese spreads, grated cheese, yogurt, and 2 types of baby pasta. Staff are available to assist mothers during mealtimes.

Riva Marina Play Garden: a colorful outdoor playground with all kinds of games, where children (ages 3 and up) and teens can play freely and have fun. The Mini Club staff is available to assist all children at the gazebo, which is equipped with tables and chairs. For older children, there’s the majestic Fanta-Castello with four colorful slides, tunnels, and watchtowers, as well as a maze, an eight-hole mini-golf course, and a beach volleyball court. Once a week, all Play Garden guests can enjoy sweet treats and fun at the Luna Park, complete with plenty of cotton candy.
Wellness Center: spans 700 square meters and features a welcoming reception area, five charming massage rooms—including one for couples’ massages—a beauty treatment room, a hair salon, a fitness room equipped with treadmills, exercise bikes, and weights; a water area with a heated pool featuring an oxygen-infused whirlpool, water jets, and a cervical waterfall; a Kneipp path; a vascular path; sensory showers; a sauna; a Turkish bath; a Scottish shower; and a relaxation area with a herbal tea lounge. We offer relaxing massages, beauty treatments, and facial and body treatments.
Beach: Approximately 900 meters away, a fully equipped beach (1 umbrella + 2 lounge chairs per room, subject to availability), bar, restrooms, and showers. Accessible via two small trains running continuously. For guests with disabilities, an accessible shuttle service is available, along with beach umbrellas adjacent to the walkway leading to the water’s edge, and the option to use a wheelchair both on the beach and at the pool. Beach umbrellas and lounge chairs are also available on the large grassy area adjacent to the beach bar. A public beach is 500 meters away.
