Palmasera Resort - Cala Gonone

Facilities: The Club Esse Palmasera Resort is nestled within a centuries-old park featuring Mediterranean vegetation. It is located right by the sea in the picturesque setting of Cala Gonone, offering panoramic views of the Gulf of Orosei. A short distance away lies the picturesque village of Cala Gonone, from which boats depart for stunning beaches, including Cala Mariolu and Cala Goloritzè (voted the most beautiful beach in the world in 2025), Cala Luna and the Bue Marino Cave, a site of unparalleled beauty. There are also incredible hikes inland to the mysterious Nuragic village of Tiscali and the Supramonte region, home to the Su Gorroppu Gorge, which, with its walls over 400 meters high, is the tallest and longest canyon in Europe. This mountainous region is a mecca for hikers who love trekking, flora, and wildlife.

Rooms: The Palmasera Resort is divided into two distinct areas: the Palmasera Village, with 349 rooms spread among the main building and low-rise structures scattered throughout the grounds. Most rooms have a terrace or veranda. Rooms are available as singles, doubles, twin rooms, triples, and quadruples, and we also offer comfortable family rooms (sleeping 4 or 5), consisting of two separate rooms with a single bathroom. Rooms with a ocean view (for an additional fee) and rooms for guests with disabilities are available. "FAMIGLIA SERENA" package: Families of 4 or 5 people, paying 3.75 or 4 rates, can be accommodated in 2 adjacent rooms. The Palmasera Bordo Exclusive: 73 exclusive, spacious rooms with a terrace or veranda in two-story villas surrounding the private pool, all equipped with Wi-Fi. All rooms are equipped with air conditioning, a TV, a mini-fridge, a hair dryer, a safe, and a bathroom with a shower.

“Esse Up” Vacation: a package designed for those who love to pamper themselves on vacation by treating themselves to a few extra comforts. Includes: Welcome Lunch (free lunch also available on the day of arrival); priority seating at the restaurant; Beach umbrella with one beach bed and one deck chair assigned starting from the 3rd row for the entire duration of your stay; free beach towel rental with daily replacement.

“Esse Plus” Vacation: everything included in the “Esse Up” package, plus: priority check-in (fast lane) and room availability by 2:00 p.m.; late check-out (the option to keep the room until 2:00 p.m. at the end of your stay); complimentary initial supply for the mini-fridge; Assignment of a beach umbrella with a beach bed and a deck chair starting from the 2nd row for the entire duration of the stay; Lunch Around: Enjoy lunch at any Club Esse location in Sardinia, subject to reservation and availability.

Dining: a central, air-conditioned restaurant reserved for guests of Palmasera Village. The "BORGO" Restaurant, which is air-conditioned and reserved exclusively for all guests of Borgo Exclusive, assigns tables for the entire duration of their stay. Buffet service featuring a selection of regional and international dishes, a wide variety of appetizers, first courses, main courses, side dishes, authentic Italian pizza, fruit, and dessert. Theme nights and a traditional Sardinian evening (microfiltered water, house white, red, and rosé wine, and light beer are included with meals, unless otherwise noted). Food Intolerances: Due to the layout of our kitchens, we cannot guarantee the complete absence of cross-contamination for any type of food intolerance, nor can we adapt our menus to accommodate individual allergies. In any case, you can find foods at the buffet that are naturally free of gluten, lactose, and eggs. We also offer a line of gluten-free products. For breakfast: rusks, cookies, rice cakes, sandwich bread, packaged snacks, jams, muesli; For lunch and dinner: pasta, bread, and packaged desserts.
Ristomini "Hero's Banquet": a special menu for children, who will be able to eat together with the Hero Camp staff in the designated area. Baby Feeding Area for Ages 0–3: A fully equipped space dedicated to children up to 3 years old, accessible at any time, where moms and dads can prepare baby food and find a selection of freshly prepared staple foods, including meat, vegetable, or fish broth; vegetable puree; small pasta, grated cheese, UHT whole or low-fat milk, yogurt, cheese spreads, and seasonal fruit. Please note that baby food is not available.

Activities and Entertainment: Club Esse Palmasera is a large, multilingual resort with a distinctly international club concept. It features spacious areas that are perfectly suited for various activities, such as the large, fully equipped swimming pool, the piano bar, and the amphitheater. The entertainment team accompanies our guests throughout their entire vacation with a rich program of entertainment, sports, and shows. All services are guaranteed from May 30 through September 30. Children and Teens: “Pink Hero,” the penguin mascot who’s come all the way from the cold, is waiting to entertain our little heroes with fun, artistic, and athletic activities and to raise their awareness about environmental issues. "Hero Camp": (ages 3 to 12, further divided into age groups) from 9:30 a.m. to 6:30 p.m. With the help of specialized staff, the children will explore a different theme each day through games, nature experiences, arts and crafts workshops, sports, theater, and lots of music. "Young Club": (ages 13 to 18) Teens will have plenty of opportunities to socialize and share experiences through sports activities and tournaments, art workshops, and events tailored to their age group. Important: To access the services offered, you will be required to wear a colored wristband for the entire duration of your stay.

Shiatsu Weeks: From June 9 to September 16, all Club Esse guests are invited to participate free of charge in the Shiatsu Workshop, which features themed hands-on sessions led by instructors from the renowned Himawari Shiatsu School, and concludes with the issuance of a certificate.

Beach: The resort is located 200 meters from the picturesque beach, which gets its pink hue from small, colorful pebbles. It is equipped with plenty of beach umbrellas, sunbeds, and lounge chairs, available on a first-come, first-served basis. It can be reached via a flight of stairs that leads down from the resort to the sea.
