Bosa is a medieval village recognized as one of the most beautiful in Italy. Located along Sardinia’s central-western coast, it has developed along the Temo River, a navigable waterway whose waters reflect the pastel-colored facades of the multicolored houses in the Sa Costa neighborhood and the historic tanneries of Sas Conzas, now considered a national monument and an important example of industrial archaeology. Dominating the landscape is the imposing Malaspina Castle, a 12th-century fortress featuring the picturesque Church of Our Lady of Regnos Altos and its precious 14th-century frescoes.
